I've been watching the groundswell of change occurring in the USA with the change of Presidents. Isn't it interesting that all the women's protests have been peaceful so far?! My instincts and the messages I'm getting are that this is the way that change will happen. Love and peace will be the strongest messages that propel change in the coming times. As it is very clear to all that we are in a time of changes that Spirit are inspiring. It is being driven by a need for balance between the masculine and feminine in our world. I'm no feminist, but even I can see that the masculine principle has been out of control for far too long.
I've been introduced to a new personal guide, who works with me through heart messages. He doesn't have a lot to say in either mental or physical terms. I think, so far, that he comes through flashes of inspiration and 'knowing'. Very intuitive friends have 'felt' his presence, which is very benign and uplifting. It remains to be seen whether he will be part of my work, or only part of my own development, which, of course, affects my work. It's a new way of intuiting for me and I'm still feeling my way. :-)
The overwhelming message that I'm getting at the moment is that we need to watch our levels of 'fear' in our own minds. We are so powerful that if we put our attention on what we fear, we can create it. This isn't a new message, but it is coming up very strongly for me at the moment.
Where are you afraid? Turn it around to faith that no matter what you think you can see, the outcome will be far better than fear would have you believe. The Universe is a benevolent place that is always wanting your good to come to you. Fear stands in the way of that happening. Don't let it. YOU are in charge of your mind at all times. Do whatever practice works for you. Or you could use this One Command technique. I don't know how all my good comes to me easily, I only know it does so, and I am fulfilled. Thank you.
Or use the Ho'oponopno mantra : Please forgive me. I'm sorry. Thank you. I love you.
Which you are saying to your true self, which you forget when you are in a state of fear.
Remember who you really are.
How often, in our lives, do we have a dream, but put it so far out of reach that we can't even see that it is possible to attain?
I had a client this week who did this. Always before in her moving around she felt she was led by her intuition to her next residence. And although lately she knew she should be moving again (she's an Explorer soul so this makes sense) she didn't know where to go.
It turned out she did know but her fears were getting in the way of seeing the possibility of reaching her dream place.
Have you ever done this? One of the interesting things that I've noticed working in the Akashic Records is that when you open to the energy of the Records (as in, when you are in them) you get a lot of clarity about your life that isn't always possible in your usual day-to-day activities. You can ponder in your mind as much as you want, but if you are using your Beta mind you are stuck in an endless loop of fear. Opening yourself to the Akashic Records you have to go into Theta mind. That opens you up to so many more possibilities than you could have ever imagined and makes many more things clear.
Of course there are other ways of accessing this brain wave state. The One Command process does this, as do many Theta based recordings, and Shamanic journeying. Just like there is no one religion that is right for everyone, there is always another way of accessing your higher guidance. I've experimented with most of them and found them all equally effective, just different.
Take some time this week to get in touch with your intuition, your inner guidance and see what it has to say to you. Life is not all doom and gloom. despite what the astrologers would have you believe at this time.
I finally got myself a copy of Anthony Williams' book 'Medical Medium' which was a fascinating read, especially his story. Since I don't know exactly which of the conditions he described I have (is it Epstein Barr, Heavy Metal and pesticide poising - very likely - or something else) I have been doing some detoxing because last month I was waking up in the morning with severe frontal headaches, which is unusual for me. Migraines I can recognize in a snap, these? Not so much. So I made up a formula based on his recommendations and have been treating myself for several weeks with as much of them as I can do right now. I am feeling much more myself now.
It is surprising (or perhaps not) how your moods and health are interrelated. I've been finding myself drawn back to creative projects that have long gone neglected and feeling very fulfilled and hungry to be able to do more challenging patterns of crochet. I just have to remember that my life needs more than projects and food to function. I can get a little out of balance sometimes when I'm enthralled with a project. Can you relate? Balance is so key to feeling fulfilled and your life maximized.
I've also been reminding myself more regularly that my life is truly blessed and abundant. We are driven by the Western idea of having more, more, more and living with the idea of lack and failure when we aren't one of the 'high achievers' of the world. But if we were to compare our lives to someone in a third world country they would consider us truly blessed and wish their lives could be so abundant. Remembering that we are where we are, and that it is all good, is the key.
So this week I want to encourage you to see where your life is blessed and focus on that and not the lack or failure of where you think you need to do better. You are doing the best you can for now and that's good enough.
I’ve just gone outside to enjoy some summer warmth and some fresh air to take a break from my latest project. As I sat on the back doorstep and played with Willow who was rolling around on the patio and generally begging me to tickle her tummy, I noticed how still it was despite the bees and butterflies gathering their nectar from the flowering herbs in my garden. Have you ever just sat and soaked up nature like that? It’s a very peaceful and enriching feeling, just to sit there and do nothing but be at peace.
We rush about so much in our modern world that we seldom take the time to really nurture our soul and heart with nature. Nature is not only our Provider, but also a source of great solace and source of attunement to our inner nature. When I was doing my shamanic training 20 odd years ago I really made a clear connection to my inner self through communing with nature. One of the reasons why I love where I live is because of the amount of trees around me. They always feel like great guardians to me and I love the stillness that surrounds you when you are in a grove in the trees.
One of the things that causes me such sadness is the relentless message we are getting from so many would be mentors that to fulfil our ‘mission’ in life is to become rich and famous. If we don’t we have wasted our life, or so they infer. Personally I don’t believe that is the case. We know from quantum physics that one change in your life whether big or small has the potential to ripple across time and space and create change, even on the other side of the world. We never really know how our personal development and coming into accord with our soul and spirit affects others.
I was listening to Gregg Braden’s latest video previews of his new course from Hay House this week and he gives his exercise for us to listen to the wisest part of us, that of your heart to find answers to our dilemmas. I’ve been using it for sometime now and I believe that what we access in our heart is the wisdom of our soul. To me that is the most beautiful message we will ever hear. And while I sometimes get a little irritated by new age fluffy messages (and I’ve been given a few to give to my clients from the Akashic Records) I know that I need to ignore my left brain in these matters which wants everything to be logically practical, and go with the best actions I can take from those type of messages and live with their truth.
We are more than physical bodies. If we are to believe quantum physics we are really just whirling masses of light particles (I’m paraphrasing here) which take form according to our consciousness. So if we decide to live from the highest vibration we are capable of, and take charge of out thoughts and feelings we become powerful creators of our own lives. Because as you know your thoughts create your reality because they are capable of creating form in due course. Our emotions are the powerful engine that drives the thoughts and give us the impetus to move forward with that creation.
I also wanted to talk about how we find that creation process so frustrating when we want, want, want something and it seems to push it so very far away from us, but I think I’ll save that for another newsletter.
In the meantime, if you haven’t seen Gregg’s presentation you can find a copy of his new book here. And the videos here.
